About the Role
As a Cleaner at Refresh Yards, your primary responsibility is to deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services that maintain our company standards and keep our clients' properties immaculate. This is a structured, hands-on role requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.You will work independently or in small teams, following a specific checklist to handle routine and deep cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing spaces. We provide a reliable, predictable schedule with stable hours, clear daily workflows, and all necessary professional equipment. This position is ideal for disciplined individuals looking for dependable, steady work in a straightforward environment.
Requirements
Reliability & Punctuality: Proven track record of showing up on time and working independently.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 25–30 lbs comfortably throughout a shift.
Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for spots missed by others (dusting corners, baseboards, under furniture).
Basic Communication Skills: Ability to read instructions, labels on cleaning chemicals, and communicate easily with clients or team leads.
Legal Eligibility: Valid right to work in the country/local area.
Preferred Requirements (The "Nice-to-Haves")
Access to a Vehicle: Possessing a valid driver’s license and a reliable car (highly preferred for mobile or residential cleaning roles where traveling between sites is required).
Prior Experience: 1–2 years of professional cleaning experience (residential, commercial, or hospitality), though many employers are willing to train the right person.
Knowledge of Safe Chemical Use: Familiarity with safety guidelines for various cleaning agents and surfaces (e.g., what to use on marble vs. stainless steel).
Background Check: Possessing or willing to undergo a clean criminal background check (often required for entering private homes or schools).
Flexible Availability: Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends (especially important for part-time roles or office cleanings).
